Mumbrella is looking to recruit an experienced Event Coordinator, to support the Head of Events and the wider events team in executing a successful and profitable annual events program.


  • Adhering to event critical paths, ensuring key deadlines are met across all assigned events
  • Assisting with the coordination of all Mumbrella events
  • Managing & coordinating the Mumbrella Digital Essentials Programs
  • Coordinating and administering both online and live judging, which involves sending invitations to jury members, keeping jury databases updated, developing final jury lists, liaising with jury members to ensure online judging is completed on time and overseeing and running final judging days
  • Coordinating Bespoke breakfast and dinner events as and when required
  • Managing and responding to all event related general enquiries in a timely fashion
  • Assisting with the marketing of events, ensuring attendance numbers are on target
  • Assisting with ticket bookings, ensuring delegate lists are kept up to date
  • Supporting the wider communications and stakeholder team as required
  • Onsite event support
  • Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders)
  • Any other event management tasks as required


  • Minimum 3 years experience in planning, scheduling and running corporate events
  • Ability to work in a small, busy team with demanding timelines
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable to working outside of core hours
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to take direction, work autonomously and have a positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to travel interstate and overseas when required
